Literacy Volunteers of Morris County can provide a free to tutor to help support HSE students actively studying or enrolled in a Basic Skill course.

  • Because LVMC tutor only meet one hour per week, HSE students should be prepared to spend several hours a week studying, taking online modules (such as Khan Academy), and taking practice tests (found online or in test prep books).
  • We strongly recommend HSE students enroll in a Free Basic Skills course offered by Morris County Vocational School. Classes are offered at the Morris County Vocational School in Denville.  Register at www.mcvs.edu or call 973-627-4601 x208. Other Free basic skills classes are offered at Sussex and Warren Community Colleges.
